Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 3 April 2025 | Effective Date: 3 April 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Amanah Law uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on this website. It is intended to give you clear information about what we collect, why, and how you can manage your preferences. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have already seen a consent notice — so that the site functions correctly and your preferences are retained between visits.
Cookies set by the website operator (in this case, Amanah Law) are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by services embedded in the website but operated by other organisations are called third-party cookies.
Cookies are not executable programs. They cannot access other files on your device and cannot carry viruses. However, they do transfer data between your browser and the websites you visit, which is why their use is subject to data protection law.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies. Their functions and the legal basis for setting each are described below.
ESSENTIAL
Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled. Examples: session state, cookie consent preference.
ANALYTICS
Help us understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, time on page, errors encountered. Data is aggregated.
MARKETING
Used to track visitors across websites for the purpose of displaying relevant advertising. We use these only if you consent.
PREFERENCES
Remember settings you have chosen — display language, region preferences, or similar — so they persist across visits.
3. Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two categories by duration:
- Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used to maintain your session while you navigate the website.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period after you close your browser. Our consent preference cookie persists for twelve (12) months. Analytics cookies typically persist for thirteen (13) months. Marketing cookies vary by provider, typically between thirty (30) days and two (2) years.
4. Third-Party Cookies
If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, third-party services may set their own cookies. These may include:
- Google Analytics — to measure website usage. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept the Analytics category below.
- Google Ads / Meta Pixel — advertising measurement tools that may be active if the website is running paid marketing campaigns. These cookies are only set if you accept the Marketing category below.
We have no control over the cookies these third parties set or their duration. Their use is subject to each provider's own privacy and cookie policies.
5. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles below to manage which cookie categories you accept. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the website to function. Your selection is saved to your browser and will be applied on future visits to this website.

- access personal data we hold about you via cookies or other means;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time (which you may do by using the toggles above or by contacting us);
- prevent processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes; and

Withdrawing consent for optional cookie categories does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
